ALLIANCE ID1-UR

ROBOTIC FIBER LASER

The laser welding solution that innovates production welding.

ALLIANCE ID1-UR ROBOTIC FIBER LASER

Automation is a key component of manufacturing, and that need is only going to continue to grow. Laser welding is now a proven technology when it comes to tool repair and production application. We figured it was time to marry the two technologies into the first ever, Robotic driven, laser welding system for mold repair, repetitive welds, and light automation.

The all-new American-Made ID1-UR is a laser welding system engineered to handle every project that comes your way. Built utilizing a Universal RobotTM UR10e co-bot to control the 6 axis either by joystick control, UR pendant, or automated programing; production laser welding applications have never been easier, and you can use the same system for all of your tool repair needs.

The ID1-UR comes standard with 300 watts of fiber laser power allowing you the ability to weld virtually any and all tooling steels including; Aluminum, MoldMax, and Copper without the need for a chiller, or costly maintenance worries.

MATERIAL APPLICATIONS:
Most tool steels including: Tool Steel, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Titanium, Aluminum, Nickel, Copper, Beryllium, etc.
ID1 BENEFITS
  • STABILITY 95% 95%
  • EASE OF USE 95% 95%
  • VERSATILITY 100% 100%

WHICH LASER TYPE IS RIGHT

FOR YOU?

These lasers are also known as flash lamp or lamp-pumped lasers, as they utilize a lamp (bulb) as a pumping mechanism and a YAG crystal as the gain medium. Both reside in an optical resonator, , which provides reflection of the light and helps with the process of creating the laser light.
Nd:YAG lasers use a water cooling system to control temp. and have some consumable parts, such as a Yag lamp that has to be changed periodically depending on use.

Fiber lasers utilize semiconductor diodes as the pumping mechanism and a doped fiber optic cable as the gain medium. In a fiber laser, the doped fiber optic serves as the resonator. Fiber lasers are the most reliable laser technology available today for material processing applications, offering the best combination of reliability and marking capability.

The many pros of a fiber laser include:

  • Highest beam quality
  • Air cooled with high ambient air temperature operating capabilities
  • Very efficient with low power consumption
  • Longest diode life (Up to 100,000 hours)
  • Less Optics Needed
  • Easy to integrate and service
