ALS W-SERIES
Versatile, affordable and made for every day use.
Needs content for this area. I know nothing about this at all.
This is the greatest thing that we have ever added to our shop. We are so much more productive and now its like we are just simply printing money. It is amazing!

WHICH LASER TYPE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
These lasers are also known as flash lamp or lamp-pumped lasers, as they utilize a lamp (bulb) as a pumping mechanism and a YAG crystal as the gain medium. Both reside in an optical resonator, typically a gold-plated cavity, which provides reflection of the light and helps with the process of creating the laser light.

Though customers still utilize YAG lasers in manufacturing, this laser design is becoming obsolete because the bulbs have a short life and require frequent replacement. They are inefficient and create a large amount of heat, therefore requiring water cooling measures. These problems make the flash lamp/YAG laser very maintenance intensive.

Fiber lasers utilize semiconductor diodes as the pumping mechanism and a doped fiber optic cable as the gain medium. In a fiber laser, the doped fiber optic serves as the resonator. Fiber lasers are the most reliable laser technology available today for material processing applications, offering the best combination of reliability and marking capability.

The many pros of a fiber laser include:

  • Highest beam quality
  • Air cooled with high ambient air temperature operating capabilities
  • Very efficient with low power consumption
  • Longest diode life (Up to 100,000 hours)
  • Extended warranties over other technologies (TYKMA 3-year warranty)
  • MOPA design of TYKMA fibers allows for maximum application flexibility
  • High peak power and long pulse durations are good for high-speed aggressive marking and deep engraving applications
  • Easy to integrate and service
The Benefits of Laser Welding:
ALS-W200 Laser Welding Machine is specifically designed for the Universal High Precision Welding, and Mould industries, and mainly used for precision mold repairing. Its working principle is to take the advantages of laser deposit welding and uses the technology of collective and spot welding with high heat of laser. It can effectively treat the welding defects of tiny parts and conduct repair work. This technical advantage fills the gap that traditional argon-arc welding and cold welding can not reach for repairing the fine welded surfaces. We have added 400mm X 200mm head travel for added usability.

This unit has been developed for areas where the laser work shop needs to be prepared for any type of job. Regardless of whether thousands of small pipes need to be welded or cut today and a three ton mould delivery  tomorrow, the ALS W series will fulfill any task with a relatively low entry cost and high reliability. The versatility of movement and rotation of the arm allows for ease of use when changing from one job to another.

The ALS W Series large arms and overhead controls allow you to work on just about any size pieces.  Designed with the tooling shop in mind, its ease of use and familiar motion controls makes it an effortless transition from working with other shop machines.

Features:
Z Motion Work Table
Separately operated Z motion work table. Adjustable for comfort and precision working
Highly Maneuverable
The ASL W Series has high versatility with its rotating arm base that allows you to move from one job to another and then back again with almost no effort.
Ergonomically Designed
With one of the largest travels in its class the ALS W series allows you and the machine to move around the work piece without causing pain and discomfort to the operator
Easy Use Controls

This machine was designed with the tool maker in mind.  All controls are easy to use and very durable.  Simple Joystick motion controller and easy to read touch screen setting controller

Pulse Distance Synchronization
Provides a constant pulse overlapping through the dynamic synchronization of the pulse trigger with the axis movement. PDS ensures replicable welding results with different speeds and consistent, homogenous weld joints in all movement situations. Therefore, a higher operating speed can be reached.
Teach-In Programming
Enables the handling of complicated geometries in four axis without complex programming. A small number of support points are hit once on the contour of the work piece in advance. The user can subsequently move the programmed welding line forward and backward using the joystick and can also shift its position by offsetting the start point.
